Carlisle Events Sharing the Holiday Spirit with their Furry Friends
Fairgrounds employees team-up to donate much-needed items to the Furry Friends Network
Thursday, December 17, 2009
Carlisle Events and Furry Friends Network have teamed up to collect much needed supplies for dogs and cats waiting for the perfect home, this holiday season. Since the Monday after Thanksgiving, a Christmas tree has been set up in the Carlisle Events office lobby, decorated with homemade ornaments featuring the pictures and names of furry friends. Written on the back of each ornament is a wish list of dog or cat supplies, needed by the Furry Friends Network. Carlisle Events team members and visitors to the office have generously donated food, toys, bowls, leashes, treats, puppy pads, cleaning products and brand-new dog beds. The goodies and supplies collected were presented by Carlisle Events’ mascot Motorhead Max to Robin Scherer, Co-Founder of the Furry Friends Network. Annie and Lizzie a mother/daughter pair of wonderful beagles joined in on the fun of the presentation. Both Annie and Lizzie are looking for the perfect home and would like to stay together because they are the best of friends!
